Industrial HVAC expertise keeps Deco Automotive facilities operating through complex systems, gas equipment, and urgent production-support repairs. This regular permanent position requires Ontario 313A and G1 licenses.

As an HVAC Technician with Magna’s Cosma International group, you will maintain plant HVAC, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure. The work includes automotive manufacturing systems, paint-line equipment, Building Automation Systems, gas-fired equipment, plumbing, and preventative maintenance. You will troubleshoot independently using diagnostic tools, schematics, and mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair rooftop, air handling, make-up air, and exhaust units
- Troubleshoot refrigeration circuits, controls, compressors, and evaporators
- Service gas furnaces, boilers, tube heaters,



and process ovens
- Respond to alarms and hot calls affecting plant operations
- Complete preventative maintenance rounds and CMMS work orders

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic 313A license
- Valid Ontario Gas Fitter 1 G1 license
- Valid G class driver’s license
- Five years industrial or large-scale commercial HVAC experience
- College diploma or related trade apprenticeship completion
