Support occupational health and safety at Artemis Gold’s Blackwater Mine as a Safety Advisor with robust data and field inspection skills.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Safety, this Safety Advisor implements occupational health and safety programs at the Blackwater Mine site. The position coordinates safety data systems, maintains records, and supports accurate reporting. It also provides technical safety assistance across departments and line management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce BW Gold safety standards, procedures, and systems
- Enter, analyze, and report safety data accurately
- Conduct field inspections, audits, and findings reports
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Review FLHA cards for quality and compliance
Requirements:
- One to three years of mining safety advisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Teams
- Surface Mine Rescue Certification preferred
