Vertex seeks a senior Environmental Land Use Qualified with five to ten-plus years in Alberta Crown land workflows. The work involves AER OneStop, Public Lands Act, Water Act applications, and environmental coordination. You will support oil and gas, pipeline, or infrastructure applications through OneStop or DRAS.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage Public Lands Act applications through AER OneStop
- Coordinate Water Act notifications and approval applications
- Interpret AEPA, Forestry and Parks, AER MSSC, and PLAR requirements
- Track approvals, conditions, application status, and project records




- Guide junior staff and consult subject matter experts

Requirements:

- Five-plus years in environmental land use or regulatory roles
- Knowledge of AER OneStop, PLA, Water Act, MSSC, and PLAR
- Experience with Crown land dispositions and WAIF, WAIR, or COP
- Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Geography, Planning, or related degree
- RPFT, RPF, P.Ag., P.Biol., or equivalent designation eligibility
