Lead asphalt quality strategy across Markham, Brampton, and GTA sites, applying mix design expertise and rigorous testing frameworks. This full-time permanent position is in office.

This senior Quality Control Manager oversees two laboratories and approximately 15–20 QC technicians and laboratory staff. The role covers asphalt and aggregate operations, including production, RAP qualification, and acceptance criteria. Regular travel connects facilities, plants, laboratories, and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set quality standards, testing frameworks, and acceptance criteria
- Oversee asphalt mix designs and aggregate and RAP qualification
- Lead QC teams and build departmental technical capacity
- Advise leadership on risks, specifications, and customer concerns
- Guide audits,



certifications, equipment controls, and method validation

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Technology, or Materials Science
- Five years of progressively responsible asphalt or aggregate QC experience
- Two years of team leadership experience
- Knowledge of Marshall/Superpave, OPSS/MTO, LS, ASTM, and AASHTO
- Valid driver’s licence and regular GTA travel availability
