Support civil and electrical infrastructure projects as a field-based Site Technician, using construction inspections and survey measurements. Work on rotations across Canada and Africa.

This contract position supports construction supervision alongside engineers on civil and electrical infrastructure projects. You will inspect earthworks, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement against approved drawings. The work includes survey control, quantity recording, site documentation, and health, safety, and environmental support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect earthworks, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement daily
- Maintain survey control and record quantities for progress payments
- Update site diaries, non-conformance records, and photographic documentation




- Report site hazards immediately under the environmental and safety plan
- Assist with as-built markups and handover documentation

Requirements:

- Technical diploma in civil engineering technology or related field
- Two or more years on active construction sites
- Comfort using survey instruments and reading construction drawings
- Willingness to work remote rotations away from home
- Valid driver licence and passport for international travel
