This Senior Manager oversees regulatory guidance and rules for an assigned financial services sector. The work covers research, legislation, policy analysis, consultations, and principles-based, risk-focused regulation. You will advise management, support strategy, and lead policy initiatives affecting industry market conduct in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee FSRA policy agenda planning, design, development, and delivery
- Provide evidence-based policy advice and recommendations to management
- Manage research, environmental scans, monitoring, analysis, and assessment
- Lead stakeholder consultations on legislation, regulations, and policies




- Build teams through hiring, coaching, training, and performance management

Requirements:

- Postsecondary degree in finance, law, economics, public policy, or related field
- Six to eight years managing financial services policy development
- Experience interpreting legislation and regulations
- Experience leading stakeholder consultations and partnerships
- Solid communication, leadership, judgement, and project management skills
