Job Description

The Senior ITAM Governance Analyst will support the continued maturity of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program through governance, controls, asset lifecycle management, and ServiceNow ITAM initiatives. This role combines ITAM governance expertise with business systems analysis responsibilities, including requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and control documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Support ITAM governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controlsGather and document business requirements, process maps, and functional requirementsAnalyze and improve Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processesSupport asset lifecycle governance, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and retirementMonitor End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) risks and remediation activitiesSupport IT general controls, compliance initiatives, and audit requirementsPartner with technology, risk, audit, and business stakeholders to identify gaps and drive process improvementsSupport ServiceNow ITAM initiatives, including HAM, SAM, and CMDBDevelop reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or ITAM AnalystStrong experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM)Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM)



and/or Software Asset Management (SAM)Experience gathering business requirements and documenting processesKnowledge of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and IT general controlsStrong understanding of asset lifecycle managementExperience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, SAM, and/or CMDBStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced Excel and reporting experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience within financial services or other regulated environmentsExperience supporting ITAM maturity or transformation initiativesExposure to EOL/EOS governanceITIL and/or IAITAM certificationExperience supporting audits and regulatory reviews
