Deliver primary care as a Nurse Practitioner at Lacroix Private Medicine’s Gatineau clinic, using clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning in office. Full-time or part-time availability is offered.
This Nurse Practitioner works within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and other professionals. You will assess patients, establish diagnoses, develop treatment plans, prescribe tests and medications, and monitor chronic conditions. The position supports compassionate, accessible, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complete health assessments and physical examinations
- Establish diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe tests, medications, treatments, and care
- Perform sutures, foreign body removal, and minor drainage
- Document interventions and follow clinical protocols
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Master of Science in Nursing primary care training
- Passed the OIIQ/CMQ certification examination
- Member in good standing of the OIIQ
- Strong assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and prescribing skills
