About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Site Engineer with a solid foundation in Infrastructure Projects to join their team in Kimberley . This hands-on role is essential for overseeing the day-to-day execution of construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. You will be responsible for managing site resources, coordinating subcontractors, and resolving technical challenges that arise during construction. The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Implement and enforce site safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Monitor progress, prepare daily site reports, and manage site resources effectively.




- Resolve on-site technical issues and communicate solutions to relevant parties.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction supervision role.
- Proven experience in managing various types of civil infrastructure projects (roads, bulk services, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills for site coordination.
