Job Summary:

The Network Administrator is responsible for the management of the servers’ infrastructure and workstations fleet, from a software and hardware perspective.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Manage the servers and respond to any software and/or hardware issues
- Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
- Install and configure network equipment to update or resolve hardware and/or software issues
- Maintain network security, update virus protection software
- Manage the corporate network security programs. Communicate with employees when new courses are available and ensure timely completion by employees
- Monitor computer systems to improve network performance and make recommendations for improvements and modifications




- Communicate network issues to impacted employees and management
- Identify and resolve software and hardware configuration issues
- Mentor and train less senior staff
- Acknowledge and respond to Help Desk requests as needed
- Create and document processes
- Other projects and duties as assigned by manager

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in in Information Technology or relevant experience in lieu
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Network Administrator, preferably in a technology organization
- Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Must be able to communicate at a high level in French and English
- Certifications in Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or MS Windows Server and Windows Client, preferred not required
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
