Construction safety coordination at EllisDon centers on site inspections, incident reporting, and compliance monitoring across active project environments. Use safety expertise to identify hazards and correct issues.

As a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator, you will support site safety through orientations, inspections, training, documentation, and reporting. The work includes WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, CPR and First Aid programs. You will also review subcontractor submissions and maintain project health and safety statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct site specific safety orientations and job site inspections
- Prepare accident and incident reports for project activities
- Monitor employees and subcontractors for safety procedure compliance




- Identify hazardous situations and implement corrective measures
- Compile project health and safety statistics regularly

Requirements:

- Three to five years of construction safety experience
- Ability to delegate and influence safety compliance
- Working toward or holding an NCSO designation
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Valid Advanced First Aid certification for British Columbia
