This Professional Engineer role supports Bombardier Aviation through materials evaluation, engineering reviews, testing, and certification. You will advise designers, structural engineers, quality teams, buyers, and laboratory staff on aircraft materials and hardware. The position also contributes to research and development projects improving environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide engineering guidance on aircraft materials, hardware, properties, and processing
- Review drawings, certification plans, and release documentation
- Evaluate metallic materials, processes, limitations, and test results
- Prepare test plans and write certification reports




- Direct junior and intermediate team members on daily engineering tasks

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum ten years’ aerospace or military production experience
- Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with SAE, AMS, and MIL specifications
- Proficiency reviewing drawings, Catia V5, and Microsoft Office
