Job Overview

The Coal Sampler/Analyst collects and evaluates coal samples, producing transparent, reliable findings to support informed operational decisions to magament. The role combines field data collection, laboratory work, research, and data analysis, with opportunities to apply relevant technical skills.

Responsibilities

- Collect, label, and document coal samples carefully, maintaining accurate records and following established procedures.
- Conduct laboratory analyses.
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Collect and process hourly production samples, plant circuits and customer samples in a safe and efficient manner
- Analyze coal utilizing specific procedures that incorporate ASTM and ISO standards such as, alkali extraction, TSS,



proximate analysis, FSI, screening, magnetite analysis, froth cell analysis, stockpiles and drill holes
- Your impact: Accurate sampling and analysis help colleagues make better-informed decisions.

Requirements

Required: Careful data collection, accurate recordkeeping, attention to detail, and practical data analysis skills are essential for reliable sampling and reporting. Preferred: Coal sampling and/or laboratory experience.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 48.0 per week
