Schedule: Overnight Mobile Patrol (2300–0700), including availability for weekends and holidays
Site Overview
This mobile patrol role covers a variety of client properties across the Greater Victoria area. You will inspect downtown locations, remote sites, equipment compounds, and perimeter fencing, providing consistent security coverage across the region during overnight hours.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across client sites and access roads.
- Monitor gates, perimeter fencing, restricted areas, and equipment compounds.
- Identify and report trespassing, vandalism, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
- Maintain accurate digital patrol logs and complete detailed incident reports.
- Respond to emergencies and maintain regular communication with operations management.
- Deliver a professional, visible security presence throughout the overnight shift.
Must Haves
- Valid BC Security Worker License.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Comfortable working independently overnight and in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Physically capable of conducting both foot patrols and mobile vehicle patrols.
- Basic computer literacy and written report-writing skills.
- Reliable transportation to the Greater Victoria reporting area.
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous mobile security patrol experience.
- Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 or standard First Aid certification.
