The Role:

The Construction Helper role exists to support project leads and skilled trades by handling time-consuming, lower-skill tasks across job sites. Responsibilities include setting up, receiving and hauling materials, cleaning, organizing, and preparing the site. By being a reliable partner to the designated lead at each site, the Helper frees up foremen, supervisors, or leads to focus on technical work, manage trades, and address client needs. This ensures management can deliver excellent service while avoiding inefficiencies caused by getting tied up in basic but essential tasks.





Responsibilities:

- Assist with moving, receiving, and organizing materials and tools on-site.
- Set up and prep the job site for daily work; handle tear-down at the end of the day.
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organized work environment at all times.
- Support the Lead in executing tasks efficiently, following instructions and safety protocols.
- Contribute to smooth workflow, helping projects run on time and freeing management to focus on client communication and project planning.

- Physically capable of lifting and carrying materials.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (or willingness to learn).
- Positive attitude, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to take direction and follow established procedures.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn the construction trade.
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or general labor is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.
