The Bodyworker/student massage therapist role is suited to someone developing massage therapy skills while bringing care, respect, and a customer-focused approach to each interaction.

Responsibilities

- Welcome clients, listen to their needs, and communicate clearly throughout each session.
- Provide bodywork within the scope of current training and follow applicable workplace procedures.
- Use relevant medical terminology when discussing client needs, and keep session notes accurate and confidential.
- Maintain a calm, respectful environment and coordinate with colleagues to support smooth client visits.

Requirements

Required: Clear communication and customer service skills are essential for understanding client needs, explaining session steps, and providing respectful support.



Careful attention to client information and the ability to use relevant medical terminology help maintain accurate, qualified interactions. Preferred: Experience in customer service or massage-related settings, familiarity with medical terminology, and a developing bodywork practice can strengthen your contribution and help you adapt to varied client needs.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
