Job Overview

The Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive oral care and patient education in a dental office. The role combines clinical support, transparent communication, and accurate documentation to help patients understand their oral health and care options.

Duties

- Provide dental hygiene care and explain preventive practices in language patients can understand.
- Review relevant patient information, document care accurately, and communicate observations to the dental team.
- Support a welcoming visit for patients of different ages, including pediatric patients, and assist with orthodontic care as appropriate.
- Use Dentrix and medical terminology to support organized records and clear coordination. Your impact: patients receive understandable guidance,



while colleagues have accurate information to support coordinated care.

Qualifications

Required: Practical dental hygiene capabilities, clear patient communication, accurate recordkeeping, and comfort using dental office technology and medical terminology support effective care. Preferred: Dental office experience, customer service strengths, Dentrix familiarity, and exposure to orthodontics, pediatrics, dental assisting, or bilingual communication are advantageous.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
