Position: Independent contractor | Part-time with the potential to grow your caseload and transition to full-time
The Physio Method is seeking a warm, motivated and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary physiotherapy and wellness centre.
We are creating a modern clinic where practitioners can focus on providing excellent care while receiving the administrative support, flexibility and professional environment needed to build a rewarding practice. This opportunity is well suited to an RMT who wants the independence to manage their schedule and treatment approach while benefiting from internal referrals and collaboration with other health professionals.
Both new graduates and experienced RMTs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, individualized massage therapy treatments
- Complete assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Obtain informed consent and follow all applicable professional standards
- Educate patients and provide appropriate home-care recommendations
- Communicate clearly about treatment goals and expected outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when beneficial
- Build trusting, long-term therapeutic relationships
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional treatment environment
- Contribute to a welcoming and positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong assessment and hands-on treatment skills
- Professional, dependable and patient-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently within a multidisciplinary environment
- Interested in collaboration, professional growth and continued learning
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
- New graduates and experienced RMTs are welcome to apply
- Evening or weekend availability is an asset
Compensation and Clinic Support
This is an independent-contractor position with percentage-based compensation. Depending on treatment length and the agreed compensation structure, earnings are expected to be approximately $90–$105 per treatment hour.
