Overview

We are seeking five detail-oriented Adobe Illustrator Drafters to assist with a large-scale artistic mapping project involving precise digital tracing and line drawings.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for students or graduates in architecture, illustration, visual arts, graphic design, or related fields who have experience using Adobe Illustrator.

The position is fully remote, but all work must be completed during scheduled live Zoom sessions under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Trace assigned maps and drawings accurately using Adobe Illustrator.
- Produce clean, precise, and consistent vector line drawings.
- Complete approximately three drawings per hour while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Attend mandatory live Zoom working sessions from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Follow established drawing standards and project-specific instructions.
- Communicate with the project supervisor and other team members during working sessions.
- Upload all completed drawings and required files at the end of each daily session.

Requirements

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, particularly vector tracing and line drawing.
- Access to a computer with a working, installed version of Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and meet production targets.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to participate in live Zoom sessions.




- Availability during the entire scheduled working period for five consecutive weeks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in architecture, architectural drafting, illustration, graphic design, or visual arts.
- Experience with technical drawings, architectural plans, maps, or detailed vector illustrations.
- Familiarity with organizing and managing Adobe Illustrator files.

Training and Supervision

Project-specific training will be provided before production work begins. All required training hours will be paid.

Daily work sessions will take place live on Zoom, allowing participants to receive guidance, ask questions, and collaborate throughout the process.

Compensation and Duration

- Hourly rate: $20.00 CAD
- Weekly hours: 10
- Contract duration: 5 weeks
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Toronto Time)
