We are seeking a reliable and organized Yard Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and yard operations at a large industrial facility in Windsor. This role is responsible for coordinating truck traffic, escorting drivers to designated unloading areas, operating truck scales, and maintaining accurate records to ensure productive site operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in logistics, transportation, shipping/receiving, yard coordination, or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

- Escort incoming transport trucks to assigned unloading locations using a company vehicle.
- Review schedules and tracking spreadsheets to determine proper unloading destinations.
- Coordinate with unloading teams and site personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the facility.
- Safely direct truck drivers while ensuring compliance with site traffic regulations and safety procedures.
- Operate truck scales to record inbound and outbound vehicle weights.
- Accurately document truck movements, unloading assignments, and scale data.
- Monitor yard activity and report delays, safety concerns, or operational issues to management.




- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or yard coordination is considered an asset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and electronic tracking tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record and track information.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Working Conditions

- Industrial and construction-site environment.
- Regular walking, standing, and driving throughout the facility.
- Exposure to weather, noise, and industrial equipment.
- Required PPE includes safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and high-visibility vest.

Pay: $19.65 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
