This position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn more about our dispatch team, the company, and the industry. As theDispatch Student,u00A0you will be a key player in supporting dispatch-related issues and programs.u00A0Working closely with your team, you will use your exceptional customer service skills to build relationships with, and give support to, our Drivers.

Responsibilities include:

- Communication with customers and drivers via telephone, email, chat, and satellite.
- Assisting with customs-related issues for South- and North-bound shipments.
- Providing our drivers with information such as customer specifics, routing, road conditions, and other information.
- Problem solving by working closely with our drivers and internal departments to service our customers.
- Working closely with our Customer Service, Customs, Planning, and other internal teams.
- Helping with breakdown situations and working closely with our local shop.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education with a focus on any combination of Supply Chain, Management, or Business Administration, or related field.
- Ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player.
- Exceptional customer service skills; embraces the concept of both the internal and external customer.




- Flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands.
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, high volume and fast-paced workplace.
- Strong attention to detail.

This flexible, part-time position offers2-3 days of work per week. Availability to work weekends is required to support operational needs and ensure consistent service coverage.
