As a 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician, you’ll support electrical installation and maintenance work while developing practical skills under the direction of experienced Journeyman electricians. You’ll use hand and power tools, follow schematics and blueprints, and contribute to safe, organized work across assigned projects. Your impact: careful, accurate work helps the team complete electrical tasks efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installing electrical systems and components.
- Read schematics and blueprints to understand layouts, identify materials, and support work planning.
- Use hand tools and power tools appropriately, keeping equipment and work areas organized.
- Support low-voltage tasks and follow instructions and established safety practices on site.
Requirements
Required:
Practical electrical experience, familiarity with hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints and work well with others are key for supporting installation and maintenance duties. Attention to detail and safe, dependable work habits help you contribute effectively alongside the team. Preferred: Commercial electrician experience, low-voltage familiarity, and conduit work are valuable strengths that can help you adapt to varied project environments and support a broad range of electrical work.
Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
