Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Loss Prevention Investigator to conduct internal and external investigations related to financial and physical loss. This role is essential in identifying risks, preventing theft, protecting company assets, and supporting Walmart's overall loss prevention strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal investigations involving associate misconduct, policy violations, and other security concerns
- Investigate large-scale theft and organized retail crime
- Conduct internal interviews and external apprehensions as required
- Prepare detailed investigative reports, maintain accurate case files, and communicate findings to leadership
- Identify gaps in company policies and procedures and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents




- Deliver training sessions, support new associate onboarding, and share loss prevention best practices
- Build and maintain relationships with store management, local law enforcement, and industry partners
- Collaborate with Asset Protection Investigative Analysts, Total Loss Managers, and Asset Protection Associates to manage investigations and reduce risks

Qualifications

- Experience in loss prevention, security, investigations, or asset protection is an asset
- Robust investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and report-writing abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Basic computer skills for investigative documentation and reporting
- Flexible availability to support investigations as required

The rate of pay for this position starts from $20.00. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
