We are currently hiring an experienced Manual Machinist for one of our clients in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating conventional lathes and mills, reading technical drawings, and machining custom parts.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate conventional lathes and milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
- Machine custom parts according to job requirements.
- Complete all necessary job-related paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Completion of secondary school.




- Minimum of 4 years of relevant machining experience.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating conventional lathes and mills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for custom-part machining.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous manual machining experience is required; 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Must be able to commute reliably to Mississauga, ON, or relocate before starting work.

Pay: $21.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
