Matrix HR is hiring a Certified Rigger for an exciting, long-term job in Halifax, NS. We offer additional overtime and wage parity for this position. The pay rate is $46/hr (Get paid weekly!)

**Referral Bonus! **We are pleased to offer a referral bonus of $200 for each individual referred to Matrix HR who is successfully hired for this project. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred candidate must complete a minimum of one week of work on our payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving
- Select gear such as cables, pull-eyes, and winches, according to load weights and sizes using chain fall and other equipment
- Tilt, dip and turn suspending loads to maneuver over, under, or around obstacles.




- Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material.

Requirements:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- A pre-employment physical is required
- A background check completed by employer

Qualifications:

- Experience in Rigging
- Successfully completed Rigging Training Courses
- Confined Space Ticket
- Fall Protection Ticket
