Position Summary:

Galaxy Freightline Inc. is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate for our Mississauga terminal. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) operations, cross-docking, and freight consolidation. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle daily warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, staging, and shipping of LTL freight.
- Perform cross-docking activities to ensure efficient freight movement between inbound and outbound trailers.
- Load and unload trailers with proper weight distribution and secure freight for safe transportation.
- Build and manage load consolidations for optimal trailer utilization.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all freight is properly labeled, scanned, and documented.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to meet tight schedules and delivery timelines.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in LTL warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of cross-docking and freight consolidation processes.




- Experience in loading and unloading trailers with proper load balancing techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced terminal environment.
- Forklift license is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
