Must Reside in Ontario Sales and Training Full-time Field What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate for this position will help drive long-term growth by identifying new markets, calling on contractors, building strategic partnerships, and uncovering segments beyond Navien’s current reach. This is a position for someone who is comfortable with the expectation and responsibility of utilizing their judgement and discretion with respect to significant corporate decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Researching industries and market trends to identify new business opportunities
• Reaching out to potential partners to explore mutually beneficial collaborations
• Creating and maintaining step-by-step plans to enter new markets or launch new services
• Keeping Navien leadership informed on business development progress and pipeline updates
• Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to get new customers
• Up to 50% travel expected

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, preferably industry related
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships and share ideas
• Research skills to analyze industries, companies and market opportunities
• Strategic planning ability to develop and execute multi-step growth initiatives
• Confidence in negotiating deals, proposals and partnership terms
• Collaboration skills to align with sales, marketing and executive teams Preferred

Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of the HVAC, plumbing and hydronic heating systems
• Proficient in MS office tools
• College Diploma or University Degree in business or related discipline, or 4 years of related business experience This
