About the role

Are you someone who enjoys meeting people, being out in the field and finding solutions when something needs to get done?

Aeolus Staffing Solutions is looking for a reliable and hands-on Field Coordinator to help support our workers and clients across the GTA.

You’ll spend time visiting workplaces, checking in with workers, meeting client supervisors and building connections in the community. You’ll also work closely with our recruiter to find people for job openings and help resolve day-to-day staffing issues.

This is a practical, people-focused role. You don’t need to have worked as a recruiter before, but you should be comfortable starting conversations, building relationships and following through on your commitments.

What you’ll doVisit and support client sites

- Visit client workplaces, including warehouses, industrial facilities, cleaning locations and waste transfer stations.
- Meet with client supervisors to understand their staffing needs and any concerns.
- Check in with workers to see how their assignments are going.
- Help address day-to-day worker or client issues and keep the team informed.
- Visit new locations to understand the work, shift requirements and site safety expectations.

Find and connect with workers

- Help find dependable workers for general labour, warehouse, cleaning, transportation and other assignments.
- Build relationships with community organisations, employment centres, places of worship and other local groups to connect interested people with job opportunities.
- Ask existing workers and contacts for referrals and follow up with interested candidates.
- Speak with candidates about their experience, availability, transportation and the type of work they’re looking for.




- Work with our recruiter to confirm candidates are suitable and ready for their assignments.
- Help build and maintain a list of workers available for upcoming and urgent shifts.

Help keep shifts covered

- Confirm workers have the information they need before starting an assignment.
- Follow up with workers about their schedules and attendance.
- When someone calls off or doesn’t show up, work with the recruiter to find a suitable replacement.
- Keep the client updated on progress and raise any issues that need additional support.
- Share after-hours and weekend on-call rotation with another team member. The schedule and compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.

Support secure placements

- Help make sure workers receive the relevant site, job and safety information before starting.
- Confirm that workers can understand and communicate the instructions and safety requirements for their assigned job.
- Report safety concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate Aeolus team member and client contact.
- Maintain clear notes on site visits, worker availability and follow-up items.

What we’re looking for

- A friendly, practical person who is comfortable speaking with workers, clients and new contacts.
- Experience working with or coordinating people in an environment such as transportation, dispatch, cleaning, security, warehousing, facilities or temporary staffing.




- A willingness to visit workplaces and meet people in the community.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to take ownership when a problem needs to be solved.
- Clear spoken and written English communication.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills to manage calls, messages, emails and records.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle for regular work-related travel.
- Availability to participate in the agreed after-hours and weekend on-call rotation.

Experience recruiting or sourcing workers is an asset, but we’re open to training someone who has the right attitude and relevant experience working with people.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
