Reservations & Events Agent Overview

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nepean (IHG Hotels & Resorts) is seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations & Events Agent to handle individual, group, corporate, and event-related bookings. This role serves as a key liaison between guests, clients, and hotel departments, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to arrival.

Responsibilities

- Handle individual, group, corporate, and event reservations via phone, email, and online channels.
- Create and handle room blocks and rooming lists for corporate clients, sports teams, weddings, and other groups.
- Respond to inquiries for meeting space, catering services, and special events.
- Prepare and maintain reservation records, contracts, and event details accurately.
- Promote hotel services and upsell guest rooms, meeting space, and catering opportunities.
- Communicate reservation and event requirements with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Operations teams.
- Deliver exceptional guest service in accordance with IHG standards.

Qualifications

Required:





- Solid customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation systems. ( Opera Cloud )
- Professional phone and email etiquette.

Preferred:

- Experience in hotel reservations, sales, event coordination, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of group bookings, corporate accounts, and catering/event planning.
- Familiarity with hotel PMS systems and IHG standards.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Pay: $20.22 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
