Application question(s):
- A group of 10+ dogs wrestling, barking, and chasing each other produces a very loud, high-energy, and chaotic environment for hours at a time. On a scale of 1 to 10, how comfortable are you working in environments with persistent noise and intense multi-dog activity, and how do you handle sensory overload?
- In a room of 10 loose dogs playing, arousal levels can spike in seconds—turning innocent wrestling into over-arousal, nip-and-chase, or pinning. What specific behavioral cues do you look for to spot rising tension before it turns into a fight, and how do you calmly intervene?
- Imagine you are on the floor alone: two dogs are playing too rough in the corner, a third dog is barking incessantly at the gate, and a client just walked in for drop-off. Walk me through how you prioritize and handle that exact 30-second window.
- Many people expect dog daycare work to be mostly lounging or petting dogs, but 90% of the job is active risk management, strict cleaning protocols, constant vocal control, and vigilance. What draws you to this specific environment, and why do you think you’d thrive in a loud, fast-paced atmosphere?
Experience:
- Pet care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
