Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, pricing, and delivery coordination.

Build and maintain solid relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

Negotiate competitive pricing, purchasing terms, and delivery schedules.

Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and purchasing requirements.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze purchasing data, track inventory, prepare reports, and support business decisions.

Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics to ensure purchasing activities support customer requirements.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements to purchasing processes.

Resolve supplier issues, shipment delays, and purchasing discrepancies.

Take a proactive, hands-on approach to ensuring the purchasing function operates efficiently.

Support the continued growth and development of the purchasing department.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain operations.

Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Practical business judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where priorities may change.

Ability to influence suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Experience working with ERP or purchasing systems.

Industry background is flexible; candidates from manufacturing, distribution, electronics, or other sectors are encouraged to apply.

Previous people management experience is not required.





Additional Assets:
Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.

German or French language skills are also considered assets.

Experience coordinating purchasing activities with international suppliers.

Demonstrated potential to mentor or lead a small team.
