- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items in accordance with safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by providing timely assistance with cleaning and prep tasks.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.




- Help manage waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen environment tidy.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and sanitation practices.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to adapt and grow within the role is key!
