PTP Adult Learning and Employment Programs is promoting this opportunity on behalf of the employer. While the position is with the employer, PTP will conduct the initial screening process and share suitable candidate resumes directly with them.

PTP is a non-profit organization delivering Employment Ontario-funded services. To be considered for this opportunity, eligible candidates will be registered with PTP and may also benefit from additional employment support services.

As a Tim Hortons Team Member, you’ll help create a welcoming, efficient restaurant experience by preparing food, serving customers, and keeping work areas clean and organized. You’ll work with teammates to provide accurate, friendly service throughout each shift.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food and beverages while following food-handling, food-safety, and sanitation practices.
- Use POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable, to process orders and handle cash accurately.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, provide attentive customer service, and suggest relevant items through courteous upselling.




- Keep the kitchen and service areas clean, manage tasks efficiently, and use basic math to support accurate transactions and order preparation.

REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrate a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional Guest experiences.
- Be able to work under pressure while maintaining food safety standards.
- Have a passion for serving, making food and beverages and good time management.
- Be able to learn how to operate various equipment, carry boxes up to 25lbs, working in cold environment as freezer/ fridge.
- Enjoy working with a successful team in a secure environment.
- Have a strong work ethic, be punctual and responsible.
- Previous experience in guest service field is an asset.
- Have or pursuing a post-secondary diploma in Hospitality management or related fields is an asset but not required.
- Flexible availability is preferred

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
