Job Overview

- Prepare and serve sandwiches and other menu items while creating a welcoming, efficient experience for guests.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures to maintain consistent quality.




- Keep the service area, kitchen, and equipment clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and take orders accurately.
- Prepare food to order, including assembling sandwiches and handling ingredients safely.
- Operate the POS system to enter orders and process transactions; experience with Micros POS is helpful.
- Handle cash and provide accurate change when needed.
- Maintain clean workstations and follow sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, monitor freshness, and communicate when items need replenishing.
- Support serving and other front- or back-of-house tasks as needed.
- Suggest menu options and use appropriate upselling techniques to help customers choose items.
- Manage time effectively while balancing order accuracy, service, and cleaning duties.

Skills

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Food preparation, food handling, and food safety knowledge.
- Cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, and basic math skills.
- Time management and attention to detail in a busy setting.
- Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
- Commitment to sanitation, teamwork, and a positive guest experience.

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 44.0 per week
