Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale software systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments. This role involves developing test plans, creating and automating test scripts, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring software quality through functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. The specialist will also maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while supporting Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

- Advise on testing strategies, test plans, and resource allocation.
- Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases across various system components.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, stress, and load testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers and project teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate system behavior and data integrity under various conditions.
- Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and other regulatory standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, coverage, and quality metrics.
- Provide input for user manuals and release notes.

Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Software QA Tester.
- 5+ years of experience testing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications.
- Experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM applications and Siebel Test Automation.
- Experience testing Adobe AEM.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, test case creation, and defect management lifecycle.




- Experience with automated testing tools for GUI and API testing.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with Siebel modules related to Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Campaign Management, and Case Management.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with test management tools like QMetry, TestRail, Zephyr.
- Knowledge of data models, SQL querying, and backend testing.
- Experience with accessibility standards including AODA.
- Experience coding automated test scripts and testing COTS applications.
