Lead application modernization architect - Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty, IBM WebSphere, Kubernetes

Toronto ON - Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite

Long Term Contract

- Design and architect enterprise applications using Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty.
- Lead application modernization and migration programs from traditional WebSphere Application Server (WAS) to Open Liberty.
- Develop cloud-native microservices using Java| Spring Boot| Jakarta EE| and Open Liberty.
- Define application architecture| deployment strategies| and integration patterns.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Design scalable| secure| and highly available solutions on cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with business| development| infrastructure| and security teams.



Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application environments.
- Create architecture documents| technical standards| and governance frameworks.

Required Skills:

Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty.

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
