Duties

- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Support children during activities such as playtime, circle time, meals, and naps to ensure safety and engagement
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom setting that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and developmental progress
- Observe and document children's behaviors and milestones to inform teaching strategies and parent updates
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities,



by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance early childhood education skills

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience working with young children in a licensed early childhood setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive workplace that supports all learners
- Basic understanding of math concepts suitable for early childhood instruction
- Passion for teaching and supporting the growth of young children through engaging activities and compassionate care
