B-You-Nique rents chuppahs, mandaps and event décor across the Greater Toronto Area. We're looking for reliable on-call contract drivers to deliver and pick up large, fragile pieces for weddings and events. Our warehouse is located in Scarborough, where all jobs start and end.
What You'll Do
- Load, deliver, set up, take down and pick up event structures carefully and on schedule
- Coordinate arrival times with venues, planners and florists
- Handle delicate, high-value items with care
What We're Looking For
- Your own cargo van or cube truck, up to 15 feet (strongly preferred)
- Valid G licence and clean driving record
- Punctual and reliable, with strong time-management skills — events can't start late
- Careful handling of fragile items
- Able to lift heavy pieces and comfortable assembling structures in office (training provided)
- Available evenings and weekends
Pay & Terms
- Independent contractor, paid per job
- $200–$300 per job within Toronto, depending on load; higher rates for venues outside the city and for larger or more complex setups
- Each job includes drop-off with setup, and takedown with pickup
- Flexible, on-call scheduling
How to Apply
Send your resume or a short note about your driving experience, your vehicle (cargo van or cube truck, make, model and cargo size) and your general availability.
Pay: $200.00-$3,000.00 per day
Work Location: On the road
