Sushi Mura Richmond is hiring servers to provide attentive, welcoming service in a restaurant setting. Servers help guests enjoy a smooth dining experience by taking accurate orders, communicating requests clearly, and coordinating with colleagues. This role suits someone who values hospitality, stays organized during busy service, and contributes to a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, explain menu options, answer questions, and provide friendly customer service throughout their visit.
- Take and enter orders using POS or Micros POS, relay special requests, and coordinate timing with kitchen colleagues.
- Serve food and beverages, check guest satisfaction, and suggest suitable items through thoughtful upselling.
- Process payments, handle cash, complete basic math accurately, and maintain clean service areas in line with food safety and sanitation practices.

Experience





Required: Clear communication, customer service, time management, accurate order entry, basic math, cash handling, and attention to food safety are practical capabilities for serving guests and supporting smooth service. Preferred: Food service, serving, restaurant, hospitality, guest services, cashiering, food handling, food preparation, kitchen, or broader food industry experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS is an advantage. Your impact: Accurate, considerate service helps guests feel welcome and enables colleagues to coordinate orders efficiently.

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
