Registered Dietitian

Location: Little Current, ON
Payrate: $32/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical and community-based nutrition care, including nutritional assessments, individualized care plans, diabetes management, and health education. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare providers to deliver evidence-based and culturally sensitive care to Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide nutrition counselling, diabetes education, and health promotion sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and community partners.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the EMR system.
- Develop nutrition education resources and support community health initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
- Registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- 1–3 years of clinical or community nutrition experience.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence.





Preferred Qualifications

- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification.
- Experience in Indigenous or community healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of diabetes management, EMR systems, and Anishinabek culture.

- Frequent travel to health centres and communities across Manitoulin Island.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required.

Pay: $32.00 per hour
