Vice President, Product:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Vice President, Product for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Vice President, Product - Job Description:
The Vice President, Product will lead the Product function, including strategy, prioritization, and value realization across technology-enabled business capabilities. This role is crucial in shaping technology investments and aligning them with business priorities, ensuring the delivery of high-value outcomes.

Vice President, Product - Responsibilities:

- Build and lead a mature, lean Product function connecting business priorities with technology execution.
- Serve as a business-facing partner, translating business strategy and operational priorities into product direction.
- Own product strategy, vision, roadmaps, prioritization, and value realization across business domains.
- Ensure Product priorities align with business objectives, including service quality and operational productivity.
- Establish product discovery practices using stakeholder input and performance insights.
- Set clear standards for product roadmaps, requirements, and success metrics.
- Partner with the VP, Engineering to manage delivery plans and release readiness.
- Use data and analytics to guide product iteration and improvements.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with business leaders and teams.




- Build and coach a high-performance Product team and culture.

Vice President, Product - Mandatory Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, computer science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience
- Senior product leadership experience in a complex environment
- Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization
- Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into explicit priorities
- Demonstrated ability to define product KPIs and use data-driven insights
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Vice President, Product – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in financial services or regulated technology environments
- Experience with mortgage lending or lending operations
- Knowledge of broker channels and third-party partnerships
- Understanding of AI-enabled capabilities and system integration
- Experience in portfolio governance and capacity planning
