Join Our Team – Recreational & Competitive Coach, Rhythmic Gymnastics

Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (KRSG) in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a highly motivated and experienced part-time Recreational & Competitive Coach to join our dedicated and dynamic team for the 2026-2027 season, with the possibility of extension.

Founded in 1975, KRSG is a full service, not-for-profit club offering rhythmic gymnastics programs for girls and young women in the West Ottawa-Kanata-Stittsville areas. The club’s mission is to offer a positive, healthy environment for rhythmic gymnastics excellence and enjoyment at all levels through quality programs and strong coaching. We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for the sport who enjoys guiding athletes at the grassroots level not only in their athletic development, but also in their personal growth.

This role will primarily focus on:

- Contributing to a team-oriented coaching environment, fostering growth, mentorship, and a love for rhythmic gymnastics.
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate training sessions for recreational gymnasts,
- Following the competitive training plan and leading training sessions for competitive interclub and provincial level athletes,
- Maintaining a safe, positive and supportive training environment,
- Attending and supporting club led in-house events as required.

Required Qualifications:

- Competition 1 Certified Coach in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
- Canadian or permanent resident of Canada. Note, consideration may be given to qualified candidates who are currently eligible to work in Canada.
- Experience coaching recreational and competitive rhythmic gymnastics.
- Excellent communication, leadership and mentorship skills.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check completed after January 1, 2026
