Summit Electric is currently seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians to join our team for an industrial mining project at Alamos Gold in Ontario. This is a remote camp-based position.

Required Qualifications

- Red Seal Electrical Certification (Journeyperson)
- 2nd to 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship
- Valid driver's licence
- Eligibility to work in Ontario in accordance with applicable trade certification and apprenticeship requirements

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates must be able to pass:

- Drug and alcohol screening
- Site-specific onboarding and orientation requirements

Experience & Training

- Industrial electrical experience, preferably in mining or heavy industrial environments
- Working at Heights / Fall Protection training recognized in Ontario




- Elevated Work Platform certification or equivalent training
- Previous experience working at remote mine sites considered an asset

The Ideal Candidate Will:

- Have previous construction, mining, or industrial electrical experience
- Be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Be physically fit and able to perform demanding work for extended periods while maintaining safe work practices
- Be comfortable standing for prolonged periods on stairs, elevated platforms, and uneven terrain
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions and challenging environments
- Be comfortable working at a remote camp location on a rotational schedule
- Be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
