Duties

- Manage and maintain comprehensive accounting records for multiple property assets using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes related to property expenses, rent collections, and vendor payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and account analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Conduct auditing activities to verify compliance with internal policies and external regulations within the real estate industry.
- Assist with payroll processing and related financial services for property staff and contractors.




- Collaborate on month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for all properties.

Experience

- Proven experience in accounting within the real estate or property management industry is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and auditing practices.
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles including budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and managing accounts payable/receivable workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to handle multiple properties or accounts efficiently.
- Prior experience working with financial services providers or in a real estate investment environment is a plus.
