Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests, works well with the team, and can balance accuracy and speed in a busy food service environment. This role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, processing transactions, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining area.

Duties

- Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, checking that orders meet guest expectations.
- Describe menu items and make thoughtful recommendations, including appropriate upselling.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to communicate orders, special requests, and timing.
- Assist with basic food preparation and follow food handling and food safety procedures.
- Process guest payments, operate the register, and handle cash accurately.
- Maintain clean tables and service areas,



and follow sanitation standards.
- Use time management and basic math skills to prioritize tasks and complete transactions accurately.
- Support a positive, organized dining experience in a fast-paced food industry setting.

Experience

- Previous serving, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or guest services experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, sanitation, and basic food preparation practices is helpful.
- Kitchen experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, clear communication, and a professional, guest-focused approach.
- Comfortable with cashiering, cash handling, and basic math.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a busy setting.

Pay: $18.25-$24.54 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
