Overview

We are seeking motivated Construction Helpers to join our team for evening and night shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction projects, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the successful completion of diverse building tasks. Candidates should be eager to learn, dependable, and ready to work in a dynamic environment. Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided on-site. The position involves assisting with a wide range of construction activities, including framing, finishing, and installation tasks across commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, and tile laying
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Support concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed
- Aid in carpentry tasks including cabinet installation and framing
- Help with electrical and plumbing installations by preparing materials and assisting technicians
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary equipment




- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment during evening and night shifts
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when trained or directed by supervisors
- Support restoration projects such as painting, caulking, or masonry repairs as assigned

Qualifications

- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment preferred
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, or masonry techniques is beneficial
- Basic understanding of carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, or electrical work is desirable
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks safely
- Strong work ethic with reliability to work evening and night shifts consistently
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times

Pay: $19.41-$29.86 per hour
