Overview

We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment used for towing. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance. Responsibilities

- required to Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and equipment.
- required to Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- an asset to Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- an asset to Conduct electrical repairs involving low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrician tasks to ensure machinery operates smoothly.

- required to Analyze mechanical systems for efficiency improvements and safety enhancements while adhering to industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with other staff to resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician with mechanical knowledge. Minimum 2 years is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
