Overview

- Clear snow and ice from walkways, entrances, driveways, and other assigned areas to help maintain secure, accessible grounds.
- Work outdoors in changing winter conditions and use shovels, snow blowers, and other appropriate equipment.
- Support seasonal property care and general landscape maintenance as needed, including basic gardening, irrigation, and grounds upkeep.
- Follow site safety procedures, use equipment responsibly, and keep work areas orderly.

Responsibilities

- Shovel, sweep, and clear snow and ice from designated surfaces; apply de-icing materials when directed.
- Operate and care for hand tools and power tools, including snow-removal equipment.
- Inspect tools and equipment before use, report damage or hazards, and perform basic maintenance.
- Assist with landscape maintenance and seasonal grounds tasks, such as gardening, irrigation checks, and horticulture-related upkeep.




- Help move materials and support general property or construction-related tasks when needed.
- Follow instructions and safety practices when working around vehicles, machinery, and equipment, including an excavator when trained and authorized.

Experience

- Previous snow removal, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or groundskeeping experience is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and construction experience are assets.
- Experience operating an excavator is a plus; operation is limited to trained and authorized workers.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather, perform physical tasks, and follow safety instructions is required.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 60.0 per week
