We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with contractors, builders, tradespeople, and other customers in the construction industry to provide product information, prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure a high level of customer service.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the sales team and contributing to overall sales growth.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain robust relationships with contractors, builders, and other customers through regular communication and follow-ups
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate drywall and building-material solutions
- Provide accurate information regarding product specifications, availability, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Prepare quotes and assist customers with product selection
- Accurately enter and process customer orders while ensuring all details are correct
- Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently
- Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer requests to ensure a positive customer experience
- Support the outside sales team in achieving sales and customer-service goals
- Stay informed about products, industry trends, and changes within the construction-materials market




- Assist with pricing discussions and negotiations while maintaining company guidelines
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with an ERP system is an asset
- Comfortable learning and using new software and technology
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, construction, or building materials is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
