Job Overview

As a Truck Mechanic, you’ll inspect, maintain, and repair trucks and related equipment, using mechanical knowledge and practical diagnostic skills. The role may involve automotive repair, industrial equipment, and machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, welding, HVAC work, and assembly on trucks and heavy equipment.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed and safely handle heavy lifting during service tasks.
- Communicate repair findings clearly and provide helpful customer service.

Requirements

Required: Apply mechanical knowledge,



use hand and power tools, interpret schematics, and perform maintenance and automotive repair tasks. Practical electrical skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting support protected, effective work.

Preferred: Mechanic or dealership experience, along with exposure to excavators, cranes, Caterpillar equipment, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC, welding, heavy equipment operation, industrial equipment, or assembly, is an advantage.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
